Together with 2 friends, we visited The Finest Thai By Sansiri held at the Thai Embassy. This event will be on only for this weekend. There are quite a number of booths selling a variety of stuff, from food to fashion to handicrafts items. There are also activities where you can get a chance to experience Thai culture as well as live performances.
The doors open at 12 noon and there was already a queue forming up.
Lots of stalls selling yummy Thai food and snacks. Pad Thai, Som Tam, BBQ Pork, Thai Iced Tea…and the list goes on. Majority of the crowd are gathered around the food stalls.
Not forgetting the famous After You dessert stall. Definitely the busiest stall there. You got to try their Shibuya Honey Toast.
After the passing tentage, you can make your way into the main hall where there are several stalls selling very exquisite handicraft items and Thai home-grown furniture.
No trip to Thailand is complete without trying their Thai massage. You just got to register at the booth for a free session!
At this event, Sansiri is also showcasing their upcoming luxury condominium Taka Haus Ekamai 12. (Read also: Review of Taka Haus) This will be the first time they are doing a global launch which is happening in September.
Taka Haus is located in Thonglor-Ekamai, Bangkok’s finest district.
Ladies. There is also a section dedicated to fashion and accessories. By Siam Center.
While waiting, the guys can go grab a Singha beer and chill.
Or you can also have a go at Thai handicraft works. There are several sessions every day teaching you different things. Thai calligraphy, weaving workshop, paper ball making, bamboo garlands making, etc.
Today was the opening ceremony so a lot of VIPs were present. Even the CEO of Sansiri was there.
Remember him? That’s Utt. He was the emcee for the opening ceremony.
For this event, they invited Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band down to perform. Well honestly, this is the first time I heard of them. But I totally enjoyed their performance. The crowd was wowed too. 1 of the band member is already in his 70s!
The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band is a hybridized roots music band from Thailand. Their musical style is a mixture of traditional Thai music. There are also elements of blues, folk rock and some dub of folk-rock, blues and dub. You can know more about them >>> https://paradisebangkok.officialstore.co.uk/Shop/default.aspx
