Sukhumvit Soi 38 Street Food Court is located right next to BTS Thonglor. Over there you can find a variety of traditional local Thai street food. (Tom yum soup, boat noodles, minced pork basil rice, coconut smoothie, etc, etc.)
Way back then, I remembered these were all open stalls that operated along the street. However, in recent times, the Thai government are cleaning up the street hawkers and these stalls are now relocated into the current food court space.
Most of the stalls open from 7 pm to 12 midnight. The environment is relatively clean, bright, and airy. It is a pleasant place to have some local fares in the middle of the night if you are hungry.
Prices there are not that ‘cheap’ as some of you might come to expect. In fact, some items are even more expensive than what you can get at Terminal 21 food court!
Sadly, the buzz compared to previous years are clearly gone. However, it is nevertheless an interesting experience and you can always pop by if you are staying nearby.
