First of all, a shoutout to @AroiMakMak and the public relations team at King Power Mahanakhon for making this visit possible.
We were very happy to be invited to the King Power Mahanakhon for a visit. The King Power Mahanakhon is an iconic mixed-use development located in the central business district of Bangkok, next to Chong Nonsi BTS station.
From afar, the building looks pixelated and the design idea was to mimic that of a dragon spiraling up the tower.
Nowadays, the King Power Mahanakhon has become a popular tourist destination because of the Mahanakhon Skywalk. This is the highest point you can stand in the whole of Bangkok and at the same time be blown away by the spectacular skyline of the beautiful city. It is suggested that the best time to visit is during sunset.
And there is also the crazy skywalk where you stand on a piece of glass, being able to see all the way down to the ground.
Tickets can be bought online or on-site. Prices are about THB700 per adult. You can get a 15% discount off prices if you visit on a weekday.
On the way down, you will pass by King Power duty-free shops. But you can probably find more stuff if you visit the duty-free shop at Pullman King Power.
If you are up for it, you should check out the Mahanakhon Bangkok Skyrides located on level 1. This is the world’s 1st self-controlled ParadropVR™ City Flyer. Pretty awesome fun at 250 Baht per ride.
I would advise against trying this if you are prone to motion sickness.
Fun aside, the main purpose of this visit was actually to check out The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bangkok. Needless to say, this was luxury living in Bangkok at it’s finest.
Words cannot describe how amazed we were by the quality of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Bangkok.
Do watch the video below where we toured 1 of their 3 Bedroom Sky Residences worth a grand total of 191,000,000 Baht!
If you are truly rich and famous, this property will definitely be a great fit.
