Teo Heng KTV is one of Singapore’s most popular karaoke brands and it faced tremendous hardship in 2020 because of covid-19.
However, it has been keeping its staff paid and it has incurred millions in losses. Some reports mention that Teo Heng’s business to be losing $500,000/month.
Why are there losses? Today we’d look at it from firstly a business point of view. Entertainment business in singapore may recover now with some relaxation of rules.
But my suggestion to Teo Heng would be to start building digital assets.
It would diversify its asset base and it is much better than moving into the F&B business in Singapore. And no better than to start on youtube.
Entertainment is what is consumed the most on youtube. Here is my reaction and how to save Teo Heng business for the long term.
