Getting in is fairly easy but it takes on the rule of takes 50 to see something work on Digital Marketing. The thing we lack in this journey is patience, patience to carry on, patience to wait and patience for success.

The it takes 50 Rule?

I would say it should be the 50+ plus rule. It take on average 50 blog posts, 50 Instagram posts (well thought out one, not a pic of the sky), 50 direct messages, 50 pieces of content. Yeah that is the effort you must put in so as to start to see something. Which maybe in the form of a comment or a share. Most give up at 2, 5, 10 or worse 49 expecting to get an immediate return of their investment of time.

Why 50?

Honestly I have no clue, but I think it is about obligation to the cause. 50 shows you are not giving up and it shows you truly are interested to give. Also it is the habit of many to go back and see what you have previously written or done.

Don’t FOLLOW mistakes

The number of followers is the mistake. Do not judge your self by the number of followers. They only tell you they are good at clicking that rather attractive “follow” button. Look for engagements, that is a proper measure. Engagements meaning they direct message you, a thumbs up, and form of interaction.

Digital Marketing TIP!

Try Boosting on FaceBook or Promote on Instagram. Instead of getting that $7 gourmet coffee go get a coffeeshop coffee for $2. The $5 you save Boost or Promote $1 a day for 5 days. You still get your coffee fix and you are now an media buyer.

I am also in my Digital Marketing journey and the brand I promote is myself. I would like to hear from you in the comments. If you have a blog or article share the link there or directly to my email and I will look you up.

Have a great journey and remember PATIENCE.
