A Winning Approach

Ananda Development is acclaimed for their philosophy in creating better living solutions, so much so they’ve become 2017’s “Best Developer of the Year” (1) in Thailand. Convenient Accessibility

Such an advantageous location naturally has excellent transport links, plus a bonus for frequent travellers. Less than 5-minutes’ walk gets you to Phetchaburi MRT (blue line) and Makkasan Airport Rail Link (ARL) stations – both linked underground for seamless connectivity. Skip past traffic from here to Suvarnabhumi Airport in just under 20 minutes.

Hop on at Phetchaburi station, and you’re 1 stop from hotspots clustered around Phra Ram 9 MRT station, and the Asoke BTS interchange with Sukhumvit MRT. So in 3 stops or less, you can be in the office at [email protected] Ratchada, Unilever House, AIA Capital Centre, Interchange 21, or at an event in Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. On the weekend, run errands or shop your heart out at Terminal 21, CentralPlaza Grand Rama IX, EmQuartier and Emporium, or Central Embassy. For a spot of green and quiet, there’s Benjakitti Park. Or, if you prefer a drive out, about 10 minutes gets you onto Si Rat Expressway. Feel free to take your pick.

Endless Amenities

Hotels, schools, hospitals, embassies, and other institutions also serve the area. Srinakharinwirot University, for example, is less than a 5-minute walk behind Ideo Mobi Asoke. A stroll also takes you to mega-entertainment complex Show DC, which includes the largest K-town outside South Korea.

Within a 2-km radius, other selective highlights include a Grand Mercure, IT haven Fortune Town (rather like Singapore’s Sim Lim Square), UN-affiliated NIST International School, JCI-accredited Bumrungrad International Hospital, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the embassies of India and China.

Kicking It Up A Notch

Transport Hub

Sounds like a lot? That’s not it yet. There’s more coming to pump up the neighbourhood pulse and prominence too. Makkasan ARL station will expand as part of a high-speed rail (2) reaching Thailand’s new Eastern Economic Corridor (3) near Pattaya, and link to two more airports – Don Mueang and U-Tapao. Two stops away from Phetchaburi, the MRT station at Thailand Cultural Centre (akin to Singapore’s Esplanade) will become an interchange for the MRT’s new orange line (4) to the suburbs.

Massive Development in the Area

Several mixed-use mega-projects (5), such as Singha Complex and Makkasan Complex, are in the works to inject a mammoth boost to premium commercial, corporate, retail, and hotel spaces. The latter is planned to include 50 rai (80,000sqm) of mixed-use space, with another 150 rai (240,000sqm) set aside for a public park. Singha’s retail portion alone will be 120,000sqm.

But perhaps the most impressive of all is the massive commercial complex coming up around Phra Ram 9 MRT station. It includes the iconic G Tower, The 9th Towers, and, most outstandingly, the Super Tower – 125 storeys at 615m high, which will make it one of the tallest buildings (6) not just in Southeast Asia but the world. Apart from changing Bangkok’s skyline, it will offer up a whopping 320,000sqm of space.

First Rate Project Mates

A Partnership of Two Real Estate Behemoths – TH & JP

Ideo Mobi Asoke is a joint venture (7) between Ananda and Mitsui Fudosan, the real estate developer under Japan’s behemoth Mitsui group. Both companies are listed on their respective countries’ stock exchanges. And this isn’t their first rodeo together, which might be doubly reassuring for those who tend to worry about project completions. Ideo Mobi Asoke is expected to TOP around Sep 2018 – great for those eyeing a place but don’t want to wait too long to collect their keys.

With award-winning architects A49 Limited on board (they’re also working on the Super Tower!), expect Ideo Mobi Asoke to be superbly suited to urban lifestyles. Use of smart spatial planning tools like BIM (Building Information Modelling) optimise unit layouts and maximise the useable space for every apartment type.

At the Heart of it All

With so much excitement around, it’s no surprise these new CBD areas like Rama IX and Asoke are being seen as red-hot potential. Analysts like Knight Frank feel the same. Bangkok Post sees them as part of a new golden triangle for Bangkok’s inner core (8). The Nation calls it a “building boom” (9). It’s not hard at all to see the attraction for local Thais (10) and foreign expatriates alike.

Possibly the best news, however, is that Ideo Mobi Asoke sits practically in the centre of it all. Starting with a price tag of only SGD225,000/THB 5,500,000, it’s every bit a heavyweight contender to favour, but without the heavy entry price.
